hi i have a a d15b block with d15z1 head i know that this yield to some high compression 12.3.1 something like that stock vtec-e its supposed to open at 3100 but right now im running a p06 ecu and using a manual switch to open the vtec and i think im going to keep this setup because this allow me use the car at 12 valves and open 16v vtec-e when i want to run.

the car is pulling strong all the way from 4500rpm to 7200rpm where the revlimiter hits.
right now is running mid 16s on the 1/4 mile just with a short ram intake and exhaust no aftermarket header.
i would like to port and polish the head and i would like to put a d16y8 intake manifold with a 92ls 58mm TB but i dont know if i could put this on the vtec- e because the stock TB is just 40mm so it would be a 1.8mm increment in air flow just on the TB.

looking to hit mid 15s
