I am new to all of this swap stuff, but i've read plenty of posts on here to explain what my problem is, and fixed up some questions thats on my mind, hopefully someone can help.

I have a 96' Civic DX 5SPD with a D16Y7 motor.
my problem is, the motor doesn't knock while it's idling. it does knock at certain rpm's though, and the knock gets louder as the rpm's get higher. I've bought a D15B7 motor, but found out that i would have to get a new harness/ecu etc.. but, i've read on here that if it's just the block i could switch the 1.6 head from the D16 to the D15.

would this just be the block?
would the head from the D16 still be usable?
what all would i need to get my civic back in running shape just for temporarily?

thanks in advance to everyone that helps i'll appreciate the feedback.
