d16 turbo build questions

i have a d16z6 that i would like to eventually build up and turbo. i was planning on doing rods ,pistons, cam, ect. i want to make around 425whp and i have about 1000$ to spend i need the best bang for my buck any suggestions?

For $1000 that's kind of pushing it, considering a decent turbo would use up the majority of that budget.

the 1000$ budget is just for the inturnals, i was hoping to pick up a good used turbo til i have to money for a better one, next time i dump money in the engine is gonna be a good 1000-1200$ turbo
