D16 vtech head on a D15 block

See the thing is is that i don't have much money and i wanted to swap a d16 vtech head on a d15. I don't have much expearience on swaping things but i have a idea and a friend that does. I was wondering if it is hard to do this in less than a day and thing that i need to do this i know i need a new wireing harness, but i was wondering if the stock harness from the other 96-98 civic ex would work on my 93 civic hatch dx.

Another thing is is it hard to change the piston rings on my car while i have the head poped off?
