does d16a1 like boost and has anyone boosted one here in a 91 ef hatch

no more or no less than any D-series engine - you do know that a D16A1 will not bolt into the EF without fabricating a driver's side mount? also does not bolt directly to the 88-91 L3 transmission and does not have hole in the block for the long starter bolt - if the A1 is 86-87 which had vacuum advance ignition, you would have a real wiring nightmare

i did do the swap i know the nightmear of the wiring and for the trany if modded it can work and for the mount did it its in and it works but you do know the issue about the driver side drive shaft they tend to rub aganst the alt and you will need to swap it to the half shaft and axle but boosting one i still need to know if anyone has done it here

I have not personally, but I wouldn't recommend boosting a stock D series motor. The rods simply cannot handle much. I've watched a few D series motors blow up due to rod failure under boost.
