Like it says, I looked in the reference section and found that engine, it seems to be the best the american version had. How hard is it to find this particular engine in the states? I'm assuming not to hard. This would be going into a CRX(88dx) Thanks
 
d16a6 is the 88-91 1.6L sohc 105/108 HP Non-VTEC engine, I'm pretty sure.

It's super easy to find one around... $100-$200 for one in perfect shape is common.
 
"D16a8/9 dual cam, supposed 137hp/108trq" not the a6 but thanks and do you know anything about the a8/9?
 
I just called a damn junkyard and the bastards told me that the D16a1 is throught the years of 86-89. I told them they were fuckin crazy, and that the D16a3 came in the 88-89. Who's right?
 
yes, some cars had them, the older tegs, but there is really no parts for them. I mean, they are niec stock, to move maybe a gutted hatch, but you'd want to step up to VTEC in a d-series ifyou want any power.
 
D16A8 & D16A9 are the European versions of the JDM DOHC ZC
D16A1 is the 86-89 Integra, which is only similar to the JDM DOHC ZC
