when i first got it. the car ran real bad.
for some reason when i give my car full throttle it just CUTS OUT complelty.
what is the cause of this.

My main question. is
its an 88 civic. 4dr.

I want to drop the 92-96 h22a motor.
is this possible and what do i need to do to make this work.

to drop it in you just need an engine lift , raise it over the car and drop it . if you want to do a swap do your research , lots of info on a swap like this
