How hard would it be to switch from my 00 d16y5 to a d16z6? I know that I would need a new ecu, the p28. But other than that, what would I need? Would I need new motor mounts? Would I need a new wiring harness or would I be able to use the one I have now? Let me know. Thanks.
 
you'd need a obd2-obd1 jumper, and you'd have to modify your stock harness.


but why on earth would you swap a d16z6?
 
i got a apexi kit for it, and my d16y5(hx motor) sucks balls. And I found one for a good price. As for modifing my stock harness. What would I have to do. Would this not be a good idea. It has less miles on her too, and a new clutch and flywheel.
