help!!!!! i currently have a civic coupe with a d16y7 engine a standard, due 2 this engine bein well passed it i need 2 do a engine swop. I have been offered a d16y8 engine cheap. It is taken from the some age and model civic a 1997. firstly is this an easy swop? and also what do i need 2 do 2 make this swop succcesfull as im upgrading to a vtec?

Are you typing from a phone?

Pull the old engine out and put the new one in. Run a few wires for VTEC and I believe a few other small wiring changes and the swap is done.
