hi i just swaped a d16y7 with a d16y8 into a civic coupe and i have ran into a few problems, the first problem is that the car wont start it will crank however. i tried getting the immo chip removed from the ecu but the car still wont start is there another immo chip?
seccond problem is when i replaced the engine i replaced the wirring loom and ecu (the old ecu was a p2e and the new ecu is a p2p)aswell but now i have a spare connector running from inside the car that is supossed to go to the old ecu but there is no place for it in the ecu does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this.
i was doing this job as a favour to a friend but now he is left with no car so any help is welcome.
