I'm trying to figure out what to do with my D16Z6, it has about 100k miles on it, and I loaned it (95 Del Sol) to a friend who did a number on it. When I got it back all the oil had gotten blown out around the valve cover gasket, and leaked down the front of the engine. The engine was clanking like crazy. I since filled it back with oil, and it runs, but when accelerating it make a rough clanking noise, almost sounds like a loud exhaust leak. When I let off the gas it is quiet. It doesn't overheat or loose any fluid from the Coolant. But it does smoke some while accelerating. It doesn't clank too much when in neutral, but once you put a load on it, it's clank town.
