Won't work; different bolt patterns. If it's possible to swap a 88-00 D-series in your car(assuming mounting is similar to the 96-00 Civics); you can get a D16 block, and swap the crankshaft, rods, oil pump, and pistons into that; then use a D16Z6 head.
