my engine is throwing two codes need some info on what could be wrong.
1st code is IAC idle air control valve, the sedan originally had a 1.5L, and the map sensor use to be on the cars body, well the 1.6L has the map sensor on the throtle body, I don't know what to do withe vacoum lines running off the old mappsensor, would this cause this code to be thrown on the engine
2nd code is primary oxygen sensor heater, don't have a clue why this one is being thrown.
right now the car idles really high and the idle still bounces, up and down about 200-300rpm. Was worse be4 when my map sensor wasn't hooked up properly, the old map sensor wires had to be plugged into the cars harness.
5th generation sedans were not ment to have sohc vtecs installed. its been tough.
