ok ill try to make it short evrythings stock except exhaust there is no engine codes so the problem is when the car is at idle warm or cold it doesnt rev past 5000rpm it starts bogging down like almost its getting to much gas but when the car is rolling it doesnt happen because it seems like vtec kicks in and helps it redline any ideas thanx

what year is your car?
is it five speed or auto?
might be a limiter if the car isn't moving

1993 delsol five speed and i dont think its a limiter because it some times does it right before vtec
