I've replaced my clutch disk, release bearing and clutch cable. My car will start and go into gear which it used to not do. Before the new clutch, the tranny wouldnt go in gear, now it does thank god. But now, the pedal wont return to the normal position and also the clutch wont disengage. Now ive been told its my pedal return spring and also my pressure plate. Im not sure what to do. Take it to the shop that says the pressure plate is bad and pay $450 for them to do something even if its not the problem. Any help is appreciated

Just throwing an idea at you...shift linkage?
[post=370458]Quoted post[/post]

shift linkage is in fine working order...it shifts the tranny into all gears smoothly...clutch wont disengage...which means i cant do the gas/clutch combination thing to get out of 1st gear...even when the tranny is in gear, i can rev the motor up and the clutch pedal isnt pushed in
