ok 93 del sol S, droppping in a d16z6 to make it Si. a guy told me regarless if i get a Si, Dx or Ex engine harness, i will still have to run the vtec line by itsself because the wires that come from the ecu through the firewall dont have all the wires i would need.

is he right?

and if so how do i know what plug or whatever to run the wires to. this is my first vtec swap so i have no clue.

Your car came wired for vtec up into the engine bay. So if you use the a si or ex harness of the same year as your car the swap will be plug and play, I know that for a fact.
