I have the rear trailing arms for the swap do i really need a new proportioning valve and can i use the control arms that are already on the car. The article on the swap says to use the upper ones to keep handling good? what about the bottoms?

You should swap the prop valve, master cylinder and booster, but you don't nescessarily have too. You should be able to use the LCA's no problem, I think they are talking about the toe adjustment arm, located at the top front of the trailing arm. If you can do the swap without removing it, do that, because once you unbolt it, you will need an alignment.
