does this test work if you have bad rings?

is this an accurate check for them? does it work? etc..?

Yeah, that's a good indicator- or you could get a leakdown tester and find out where stuff is really leaking.

ok did the check today. it turns out that it's my ring in cyl. 3!! my C.P. went up to 260 from 115. then i kept checking that cyl.and with each test it went down about 10 psi!! i stopp'd when it was at 220 psi!!

It's most likely your rings then.... time for an engine rebuild.

ok thanks. i guess now i have an excuse to get my engine build for high boost!!hehe

if i use my car still. will it do any more damage to my engine?
