Door light.

ok. I need to find the 'hot' wire that powers the door light when you open the door.
I'm trying to run led's i my footwells for some added visibility/light at night, but I only want them to come on when i open the door.

I was told it was a green wire with a white stripe, and that it was somewehre under the dash, but... theres a bunch of wires under there.

Anybody know off hand which one is it??

Noone has an idea where that little wire might be?

info on car would help...check the runner on the driver side..see if its under that plastic molding..(the one you step over to get out of the car)
