ok, first of all, my 97 hb is swap with an obd1 b18c using p28 upgraded ecu. i need to get my hb inspected (emission) inorder for me to get a tag sticker. i try the obd2 p72 ecu, but the CEL comes on. i was wondering if i run the stock obd2 dx ecu just for the inspection, will that harm or damage the engine? i haven't even try the dx ecu on the swap yet. don't know if it'll even crank up, but i know forsure, if it'll be weak if it dose start up. also, since i had to re-wire my harness to work with the obd1 b18c engine, will it throw any codes if i use the stock dx ecu? thanks.
