dx tach?

after my swap, i plan on picking up either an Si cluster, or a tach from autometer. i wanted to do a lil learnin on how to wire it up before i go all headlong into it. i've done some searching and didnt find anything how-to wise..

where do i wire from and to!?
any ideas?

what car do you have?

if you have an eg, just swap the speedo unit. from the DX into the EX/Si cluster.

im not sure if it works the same way on an EK.

i have an EF..
would it be the same as the EG?

It should. All the cars should be prewired from the factory. Its a lot cheaper to have the wiring the same in all the chassis, then just install the components they need for different trim levels.
