how can i make an 89 crx si gauge cluster fit in my 89 civic dx?

Buy the gauge cluster, remove your old one, install the new one.

well the crx si wiring on the cluster is different so how would i convert it to fit in my car.

What year did the cluster come from? Are you sure its from an 89?

88-89 Si had same wiring as 88-89 DX's
90-91 Si had same wiring as 90-91 DX's

well i know it came off of an 89 crx si cause between the crx si and the civic si they are different.

i put a 89 crx HF gauge cluster in my 91 civic STD, becouse it had a tach. it bolted right up.

ALL THE WIRING IS THE SAME, THERE MIGHT BE EXTRA PLUGS FOR VARIOUS DEALER OPTIONS , BUT IT CHOULD PLUG AND BOLT RIGHT UP, I'VE DONE IT FOR A 88-91 HATCH, 92-95 HATCH.

i'm just gonna buy a 89 civic si cluster from a local dealer, that way i know it will work, cause the crx si cluster won't work cause i tried to plug and play but when i turn the left blinker on the needle for the tach jumps instead of the indicator light blinking.
