i saw my buddys dyno numbers today and im curious if his numbers should be a little higher then what he got, he hit 156.2 hp and 117.6 tq on a dynojet. his mods are i/h/e, crank pulley, fuel riser on a jdm gsr engine. his motor was from an automatic if that matters on the gsr, are the cams different?. thanks for your input.

i thought they were low, are the automatic cams in the gsr different? could that be why?

it's just because it is untuned.

his tq numbers are better than chets were obviously.. but the 156 whp isn't cool .. i made 164 on my b16

171 on my B16, but i have some mild mods done... my TQ is the same, at 117

Damn B16,do the chicks go crazy over the foot long or what? :p

In defence on the other guy, i think that those mods hardly qualify as "mild". I mean what didnt he do. He's only short pistons, rods and a turbo. i think mild qualifys as I/H/E

true, which is why i said maybe he misunderstood my intrepertation of "mild" i guess when i think of a "built" or "fully built" motor, there is much more than what i have. but, who cares?
