Ebay ECU p28 p06 to p72

hey I am doing a 92 ls/vtec. I need the p72 ecu chipped so it does not look for knock sensor. i am using stock gsr manifold. I was looking on Ebay and seen alot of them are p06 or p28 programed to be p72. are these reliable or should i just go with a p72 modified not to look for knock sensor?

I would just stick with your P72. Those P28s you're seeing will work fine, but buying one would be unnecessary since you already have a ECU capable of being chipped (assuming that it's OBD1)...

I forgot to mention I have not bought a ECU yet. My Bad!!!

P30 is want you want, assuming your using a B16 head.

i am using a 95 gsr vtec b18c head w/ 92 ls block

P30 or P72 Obd-1 ecu will work just fine just disable knock sensor if you don't plan on using a knock sensor cause it will throw a check engine light.
