ebay ecu question

hey.
i need a p13 ecu. and there is one seller that sells those skunk2 prechipped and programmed ecus for like 225 on EbAy. i was wondering if those are cheap programs (not skunk2) that will mess the car up?

Anything that is 'chipped' with anything other than a STOCK program, that's not tuned for your car, is gonna do more harm than good.

if the ecu your buying for 225 happens to be from a guy named JDMDOHCVTECPOWER.....i suggest NOT to purchase it. i had quite a few problems with the ecu that i purchased. the "so called" p13 ECU hes selling are really civic p06 ecu's converted to p28 and chipped with base maps of a h22. its not real p13. and when u buy the ecu it wont come with the original tags on it either so good luck tryn to determine what it really is or what it was converted to. the only reason i found out was cuz i compared it to my friends SOHC VTEC ECU which is a p06
