I bought a EGR block off plate awhile back and never installed it. What will it do for me?

EGR moves exhaust gas back into the intake to be burned for emissions.
on my 4g 93 mirage, i had a 3g manifold that was not cast with the EGR on one of the runners. i also had to put a potentiometer and resistor at 12.5.... something to emulate the EGR temperature sensor.
no adverse affects, except a squeaky clean intake manifold and throttlebody
if you install it, you just wont be moving the exhaust gas back into the manifold.
