Egr Question

93 B16A2 (EDM) or 92-95 JDM SiR B16A in a 92 VX.

Anyone who has done this,did you discard your EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve and solenoid completely,or is it still there and not hooked up?

i have the solenoid hooked up ... but the valve doesnt look familiar

Yea apparently the VX's EGR system is unique to that model,that's why I was wondering if I can just dump the whole thing.The B16's IM hits the cover for it,so I had to take it off.

id say F it then get that shit out of there ... if you throw codes for it then maybe try relocating it

I pulled my code and it is only the o2

I think I am,I talked to someone and they said it won't even throw a code (if the ECU doesn't look for it then duh).So it is gone this weekend
