I took the egr valve of my car and capped it so now the sensor is just hagging there and the check ingine light is on. Is there anyway to turn the light out without unscrewing the bulb. I would like to still know if i throw another code later on.
i took the entire egr valve off, not just the sensor. Removing the egr valve and plugging teh holes stops the engine from dumping that hot exhaust gas back into the engine its only there to control emissions. Anyone know how to get he light off.
Sorry i ment to say that he sensor plug was just hanging there. The senor and valve are off the car.
