Who here has used them on there car, and has it made the shifting better or worse. Please explain in detail.

It makes shifting more precise and you get a lot less play in the shifter. However, it will increase vibration. In my car, their is a vibration that feels like a cell phone whenever the engine is above 4500 rpm. It's not bad though, I think it's pretty cool. The only drawback to this is that if you have a 2 piece shift knob, the metal to metal contacts will rattle, so make sure you make them really tight because they will eventually vibrate loose and make a nasty rattling sound.
