ok i have a b18a1 right now that i threw a rod in. i wanna no what is the biggest motor i can use that my cams tranny air intake and my AFC will work on??? cause i wanna stay in the b-series but i wanna get the most outta my car with what ive got already purchused.

Your tranny should bolt up and work with any B series engine. If you plan on using parts you already had for the engine you have then it would be best to get another B18a or B18b engine because the cams in a vtec engine are probably different. The AFC is a universal part so it should work with any honda engine.

why not just get another LS bottom end?

cause i had p30 pistons in it so to try and re-build it id have to buy new set of pistons crank shaft block cause it was all damaged. so i figured i already have tp spend money why not put a motor with more power in it.. but i wanted to no what was the biggest engine i could use.
