engine problem

I am helping my friend put a 99 si motor into his 95 civic SI. Everything is in but the car dosen't stay running. It runs for a little while, sputters then shuts off. And we checked the compression put new spark plugs in and replaced the fuel rail. So any feedback is helpful. Thanks!

try adjusting the idle. it might idle too low that when it finally warms up it just kills cause it is too low. the idle adjust is on the throttle body. from the passenger side it it is on the top of the side(above the air tube). It is a flat head. Try that.
