engine swap from a d15b vtec to a b18 need help

ok i have d15b with a non vtec block and a vtec head i slung a rod now i am lookin at a b18 i had a friend tell me i that i can use my wiring harness that it would all match up is that true?

As long as the B18 generation is the same as your car, it'll plug up.

If you swap harnesses, IIRC some wires have to be extended(IAT and possibly the rear oil pressure sensor wire).
