does anyone know how much it would cost to swap a h22 into a 2000 honda civic si..... i already knowwere to get the engine and key components for the swap all i need to know is what else i need ... like the axel, motor mount but what else... my first swap.

you need a motor, mounts, h2b trans adapter (since you already have the tranny), probably some wiring....$1800 without labor

my b16 got flooded an my engine needs repair which comes out to between 2000 and 2400 dollars. but i can get the h22 for about the same prices and it will put out more power..

You can get a used b16a somewhere for that same price and you won't need to buy any conversion kits or mounts for it.

yeah sounds good an all but i had a b16b engine not a b16a in my car. i would be lowering the potential of my car...

go h22. you get way better gains and its an awesome swap. ive done 5 of them and its the way to go

if youre on a budget, get a h22. If you have some knowhow maybe b20/vtec?? Should cost about the same, maybe a little more for the b20. But if you dont feel like building a motor and drilling into it, just get the h22.
