Hey, i have my 1997 civic with a SOHC engine with an automatic tranny. I am thinking about buying a B16 DOHC with a 5-spd. tranny. The enigine swap will be simple...but can some1 tell me what i will need to get to complete the tranny swap from auto. to 5 spd? such as clutch pedal, linkage, etc...i hope i made sense. HELP please! thanks.

You'll need the pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder, clutch lines, and ECU, assuming the B16 you get comes with manual tranny, starter, etc... If not you'll need those too. And try to get an OBD 2 b16 or else you're gonna have to convert the engine to OBD 2 or buy a jumper harness for the OBD 1 ecu if it comes with your engine. If not, you'll have to buy an ECU anyway.

find a buyer for the automatic and get a 5 speed before you swap. Old people like automatics
