I have a JDM B18B with a USDM ECU. The ECU is looking for an evap solenoid, whereas the JDM motor's don't have one. Because of this I'm getting a CEL for evap purge solenoid.
How would I bypass this so I don't get a CEL? Car runs fine without it, I just want the CEL gone. Evap solenoid is pin A15 on the ECU.. was wondering if I could bypass it in someway similar to the CKF sensor bypass trick?
Also, I'm still rocking a y7 distributor on the b18. Would it be wise to get a b18 one, or could I stay with the y7 dizzy? Car idle is a little goofy but I also havn't set my ignition timing or TPS yet.
