Last night I was at a party across the street from my fraternity house (at the sorority my gf is pledging), all was great having a good time. Me, the gf, and one of my friends go to leave. I parked at the bookstore 2 houses down. I walk up to my car to see a huge dent in the front passenger side fender. It doesn't look like a hit and run, it looks like someone kicked the shit out of it. I haven't pissed anyone off in awhile so I'm guessing someone was just bored. It looks like complete shit.

Does anyone know how I would go about filing an insurance claim for this? Honestly I'm too pissed to think clearly.

the only thing i would consider is going through campus insurance. it would probably cost about the same amount as your deductible to fix so it wouldn't be worth it. that sucks man, i know how you feel. i've been there before to.

It wasn't on campus, all greek houses are about 2 blocks away from the campus.

damn, maybe you can get someone's homeowners insurance. renters have to have it by law. especially if someone is renting. i would say it was parked in front of the house you went to the party at.

Buy a new one yourself, don't fuck with the insurance mess. Then keep the old one and search for who did it and beat the shit out of them with it.;)

Dent is rediculous. I think it was kicked multiple times. Paint is fine in the dent (that's why I say kicked, not backed into) but where it meets the door is already chipping from opening and shutting it only 3 times. And yea I'm back with the gf.

I talked to my parents because I'm still on their policy and they said they're almost sure I'm covered for vandilism with no deductible. Our van was spray-painted a few years back. As far as homeowners/renters insurance, the lot we park in is an abandoned bookstore so nope.
