okay we put a f-maxx turbo kit on a 97 prelude as you know it has a erl mf2 additonal fuel injector controller with 2 450cc injectors in the charge pipe, its all wired up right because all the rpm lights are coming on at the right time, the map input light is coming on, the light which shows the injectors are engaged is coming on, but when the car hits boost it just detonates and dont build power, the plugs are white which indecates it is lean, no matter how you adjust the controls it still does the same thing, it has a msd btm for timing, we put a 255 gph fuel pump on it, what could it be

    stop driving it.

    pull those extra inejctors out.

    get 4 dsm 450;s
    put them in the rail

    throw out the fmu

get crome on a p72 and tune your car the right way.

I bought the kit from a dude that had it in a 97 lude and said it ran fine, could it be the map, I put 3 check valves in line of it, somebody said a missing link would fix it, but when the map reads boost dont it suppose to go rich instead of lean, right?

it will throw a code and pretty much inhibit you from driving it... cuts out.

if you're running lean, you need more fuel, or you need to tune the fuel you have, or a combination of the two.

a kit is a kit, but your motor is not his motor.
