F! the RED

So, now I hate red.

Don't ask me why, after looking/driving/getting pulled over with the red for a couple weeks, I just don't like it anymore.

So...I'm sanding, priming and painting it charcoal gray metallic.



Same color as this GTO, without that stupid flame and shinier

She's a smart one. Since I just decided I wanted my car red, I went ahead and painted it red. I'm kicking myself for it.

Leaving red is tough too... Lots of prep work or the new color will come right through.

Some sanding and a couple coats of primer should solve that.

just wetsand the red...lay a nice coat of white primer so the red doesn't come through and it'll make the silver come out better.

A nice sanding, and some paint prep (I can't remember the chemical's name, it degloasses and degreases it), and 2 coats of primer should be sufficient.

3M makes an awsome product called "scuff it". Its a gel that you apply to your scuff pad. Cheeck it out.
