fender install help

    ok, so i got the old fender off, but now i cannot get the new one aligned properly... by the door up top there is a big gap and by the hood close to the door there is a gap, anybody got any tips?

    did you get the fender for a 4 dr or a 2 dr??

    after looking they seem to have the same part # anyways

    ill take some pics later on today when i get off work!! and i checked the website i got em from, it said 2dr/4dr ex lx dx

    hmm... Certifit or OEM? .. if they're Certifit that may be the problem

    might need some massaging.. lol... loosen the bolts and see if there is any play in it.. might need another set of hands to hold it tight while the other tightens

    i did it myself, im sure if i got some help it would have been 100times easier

    oh yea, how does that rocker panel come off... i got all the plastic screws off the bottom of the car, but i couldnt get it to come off.

    was your car in a wreck or are you just replacing panels

    a small fender bender, HAHAHA........ everything was still in align with the old one though....

    that doesnt mean anything the old fenders will move withe frame.....it looks like your frame is out of alignment and your going to need it pulled

    even if this wreck was because somebody merged into my lane at about 25.

    i still havent touched it since i put it on, im gonna try to massage as you said, a lil bit this saturday

    yes seen it happen his frame moved down 1/2 inch messed his body panel alignment all up
