Finished My Ls/vtec!

Hey,
I just finished the first part of my LS/Vtec (gettiing the block). I have a 93 SI (with vtec). The new LS swap has no Vtec and the "Check engine light" stays on????? I can still drive but i dont know how to get rid of this light????? Maybe the wiring is wrong???? Ne help would be great

I dont have a vtec head on right now...just the LS engine. The LS engine came from a 96 integra and its sitting in a 93 SI. The ECU i bought came with the integra engine (not sure what code it is..... P28???). Anyways, the swap went good but on my dash board the "Check engine light" comes on has soon as i start the car???? What is it looking for??? I can still drive with no problems yet.... Just want to know if that would cause problems down the road!!!!!!!
