Firefox cookies not working!!!

It started doing this after I deleted some cookies, but I've uninstalled, and reinstalled, and it still does it. Cookies won't "stick" after I turn firefox off. Is there a special setting for this?

try going to tools, options, privacy. make sure accept cookies from site is checked and keep them until they expire.

Yup, did that. I had unchecked everything, re-checked them, and that didn't work. I reinstalled Firefox, and it's still doing it. Maybe it's some registry string?
