Fluid missing??

Hey Guys,

I have buddy that has a 02 SI Auto. We have a wierd problem, the other day he was drving and noticed that his power steering fluid was low? I topped it up with some fluid and on he went. 2 days later he came back and showed me that it had lost the same amount of fluid?? No leaks, steering is smooth, pump seems to be working, little bit of whinding (but that should be normal). He has to fill up the res every two days??? I flushed the fluid and still the same thing?? Any clues as to were this fluid is going?? I can't see any leaks, cracks??

Slide a piece of cardboard under the car when you park it. That should help you identify where the leak is coming from.

I thought the EPs had electric steering? Are you sure its a Si?
