found out I have ZC

today while doing my rear disc conversion, I found that my 91 si has a SOHC ZC I got the car for free with a blown water pump but never really payed attention the girl i got it from told me the motor was replaced a year ago but I never looked at it, all the A/C stuff is in the way and today i looked at it it says ZC can I still do my mini me on this?I always thought it had a D16A6

Same pistons as a D16A6.

cool i took it and got it smogged about a month ago ran clean

A6 pistons are PM6 and I'm pretty sure that SOHC ZC pistons are PM7. Or is that the DOHC ZC? I know that P29 pistons are from the '89-'90 A1.

A6 and SOHC ZC are PM6 pistons.
DOHC ZC are PM7 pistons.

I've owned and torn down all 3.

Yup.

As possible as it is for every other SOHC D-Series engine.
