fuel gauge

hey i got my engine in he crx finally after 2 weeks of messing around and it runs great but the fuel gauge wont work any ideas how to get t going or is it just done?

The sending unit may be bad. It is the other electrical connector next to the one for the fuel pump itself.

I had the same problem and I thought it was the sender. I got out the volt meter and one of the wires was dead. I traced it out and found where it came out of a splice that somebody put in before I got it.
