fuel stabilizer

Hey all,

I plan on storeing my car for a while. I remember reading something a while back that using fuel stabilizer will keep my fuel system in good shape while the car sits.


Is there any particular brand that is recomended? How do i use the stuff - just put in the correct ammount, drive for a few mins, and then park the car??

The brand I've heard of is Stay-Bil. And yeah, just drive a few minutes after adding it so you get all the fuel+stabilizer in the lines. If not, it's no biggie, my car started fine with two year old gas in it, I just didn't want to cycle the entire gas tank through, so I ended up dumping the rest, not into my mom's rose garden ...
