Has anyone ever heard of someone converting a fwd car to rwd. Perhaps even a Honda. Besides of course the Pro drag cars.
Thanks

Eight simple steps to converting a FWD Honda to RWD:
1) Build a subframe that will locate the rear diff and rear suspension.
2) Strengthen the rear end of the car to handle the stresses that it wasn't designed to withstand.
3) Find a way to mount a FR engine and tranny in a FF chassis (go look at how a FR engine is mounted to see what I mean). Most likely, you'll have to fabricate another subframe to do this, and then yet another one for the tranny mount (or beef up the belly pan of the car).
4) Cut a channel in the bottom of the car for the driveshaft and exhaust, but don't make it weaker...
5) Find another place for the gas tank.
6) Wiring and plumbing issues galore. Have fun!
7) 1/4 of the way through, realize that you should have just bought a RWD car.
8) Scrap the project.

"To be different." Which is about the lamest fucking reason to do anything to a car.
