gauge question

hey guys I just picked up some of those gauges at autozone, the oil pressure, temp, and amp. I'm really only worried about the oil and temp just because I like to know whats going on with my car and seeing my temp gauge works when it wants to I wouldn't mind knowing what I'm really running.

Now I heard that you can tap both of these into the head instead of removing the sending unit in the back of the block. Now where would I do this? I have the d15b2 and I believe I found one for the temp right under where the dizzy is, am I right?

The temp gauge in your car's dash from stock is water temp, not oil temp.

Im pretty sure he meant water temp. The Autozone near me typicaly stocks the oil pressure/water temp/amp gauges as a set.
