That's still a big IF. AutoWeek is constantly reporting on the hem-hawing of Daimler's decision to bring Smart to the US. As for the roadster/coupe, that's not in the plan for the US. Just the ForTwo.

They are already here... There is a dealer in NH that sells them, and I have personally seen 2 driving around in VA... One of which has a FEAR THIS sticker on the back window. LOL
