1.3 million today because of faulty steering....700,000 for door problems last week.

GM recalls 1.3 million cars over steering fault - Autos- msnbc.com

welcome to another bailout for a company that just plain sucks balls.

on another note, do you think the government will go on another witch hunt like they did with toyota? let me check my magic 8 ball....*shake shake shake*....."not fucking likely"...

lmao, saw this yesterday, toyotas only accelerated, you could steer them, and if you had a lick of common sense you could safely stop.
in the article i saw yesterday, their vans are known to catch fucking fire. and id rather have a car that accelerates on its own than one that doesnt allow me to steer.
and of course, i tried to find that article again, and its already gone. lol. sweeping it under the rug.

on a side note... GM already issued this same recall on 944,000 of the same vehicles back in 2008, but the problem wasnt resolved... so now they are just going to "disable the system" (ie: unplug the fucking thing) "to ensure customer safety"...

    LMAO :lmao:

    bravo GM!!!! bravo!!!!

i'm sure there is some carryover on the number of cars. i mean some cars may have both issues. but regardless, GM is still rolling flaming pieces of shit of the line. literally and figureatively.

Wow, GM had a recall too? Chrysler just announced a HUGE recall too. Turns out that they were also having problems with unintended acceleration. Guess who their supplier for accelerator pedal components was? Same company who supplied Toyota.

If anything, this should take a LOT of heat off of Toyota. Hopefully the company producing those faulty parts gets hit with fines or something...

Christ... 700k, 1.3 mill and now another 1.5 million cars recalled. I'll never buy a GM product. Ever. Even if the CEO says he "wants to make it a company all Americans can be proud of again".

I find that inspiring. If you make a company shitty enough, the government will help you.

its not just a matter of making a shitty company that puts out garbage... you need to make a shitty company that employs a fuck ton of people and has the unions so ingrained in to it that your entire company thinks and acts with one mind (is this good for the union)... you need to grow your company in such a way that your company and its union has the ability to sway elections

if you can make that happen then the government will choke itself to death trying to suck your dick

because as we all know (or damn sure should know)... politicians are really only interested in maintaining and prolonging their career and power
