Good tire size?

    I've had 17's with 205/40/17's which is only tire size says to use on a 95 Civic 4 Dr. and was wondering if its safe to put a 205/45/17. car is only dropped .75

    205/40 is already too tall. 205/45 is even taller.

    your gearing will suffer and so will accelration, but it should clear with minor rubbing near full lock.

    205/40 is only size to say to use which i have on already so should i go down to 16's?
